Hungarian Section of the Europan Association for Astronomy Education

This webite is produced by the Hungarian Section of the Europan Association for Astronomy Education (EAAE), that was established during the General Assembly of EAAE in 2005 at the ESO Headquarters, Garhing, Germany. Our group aims to help the education and popularization of astronomy in Hungary and help the conversation between teachers, organizers and scientists. The website is maintained and the work is organised by the Hungarian Astronomical Association and the Polaris Observatory.

Organizations contributed to this website

The Tudasbazis website is developed and maintained by the Hungarian Astronomical Association. Our aim is to present basic astronomical knowledge and its educational issues. This website contains encyclopedic style descriptions, ppt files, and links to various media files (above all popularization films and lectures).

The hierarchical structured encyclopedia is published based under the cooperation with the Sulinet Digitalis Tudasbazis, Edicatio Kht., and the University of Szeged Faculty of Informatics. Clicking on the phrases with dashed underlines pops up the corresponding explanation, developed by Akos Kereszturi and Telescopium Ltd.
